Teaching and Learning Method
Approach : Problem– Based Learning
Teaching and Learning Media
1. Tools : Instructional video, games (puzzleand snake ladder)
2. Source : Textbook
Teaching and Learning Activities
1. Teacher
enters the classroom and greets the students.
2. Teacher
delivers attendance list to the student.
3. Teacher
gives a puzzle game and its instructions to reviewing the previous logics
materials,
4. Teacher
checks students’ work and they analyze it together.
5. Teacher
explains goals and objectives to the students about today’s materials.
6. Teacher
starts with playing the instructional video.
7. While the video is
being played, teacher explains some important parts by pausing the video.
8. Then, teacher gives examples and exercises to the students which will
be analyzed together.
9. After the video
ends, teacher asks the students whether there still some materials which is not
understood by them.
10. The teacher
introduces the game (snake ladder)and explain the rule.
11. The
teacheraccompany students play the game (the students will be divided in
groups).
12. The students answer
the questions when their group stop in the snake ledder’s number.
13. When the times up,
the teacher asks the students to comply all of their answers.
14. Teacher
asks the students about difficult number from each group.
15. Teacher
give that question to another group and discuss that question.
16. The teacher gives
questions sheets based on the snake ladder games to the students as homeworks.
17. The teacher asks
the students about what had they learned and asks them to write it on the
“Resume and Reflection of Mathematics for Today” Board.
18. The teacher
dimisses the class.
